He can no longer hurt me

I've Become Numb


So many times you've taken from me
what I refused to give
Last night you did it again.
I can no longer cry about it
my body and soul have become numb.

Your apology was not words I was looking for
I shouldn't have touched you
is what they should have been.
I can no longer cry about it
my body and soul have become numb.

When I look at you smiling at me
I become literally sick
to know you would do it again.
I can no longer cry about it
my body and soul have become numb.
