the poem is about what lies beneath the snow and whether to leave it there or not |
| What's beneath the snow I do not know The many things it hides from me Why do things so cold Hide underneath the winter's snow The remnants of fall The grass and leaves Are old memories to me Perhaps it's better they lurk beneath To fade away for the new growth Of good and happy memories I cry while the snow melts To nurture the grass, trees, and offspring To help them grow and mature So that better memories will occur |
