An Angels List

This is looking at things after the fact

The Angel held the list
to scan the names for me.
I could not understand
where my name would be.

It wasn't on the list He read
we looked everywhere.
Satan stood behind me
acting like he cared.

Sweat was running down
in riviluts on my face.
Satan took me by my hand
he had won his case.

I know that its to late for me
I had made my choice before
When I didn't answer
Christs knock upon my door.
