Daylight, encircles my mind
Darkness, are all my eyes can find

My mind wants to rest
My body thinks that's not best

Staring blankly at the ceiliing
Will something wash over my sleepless feeling?

My mind starts racing
Soon I am pacing

I can't get to sleep
Rest I can't keep

Faster and
faster
yet
I
am
spinn
ing out
of control...

I crash onto my bed
Sleep is finally in my head.
