She had finally swum in the ocean, overcoming her fear.

She always remembered nearly drowning, a stranger had saved her and
she had not confronted the waves again.  She was a strong swimmer from
her time in the pool, now twenty years later, she found inner strength too.

She now knew she could conquer anything.
