this poem is about an ex-lover of mine that seems to always be in my mind

The pain that I feel
is only in my heart
It’s like a bad tattoo
it won't ever go away
it's like the scars on my body
they won’t ever go away
your always on my mind
don’t matter what
and yes it hurts me
it hurts me really badly
but I still hide it
I don’t want anyone to see
just what you done to me
you played me
you used me
you lied to me
you said you loved me
you said I was beautiful
you said you wanted me
you said you’d never leave
but you’re not here
You’re with her
loving her
protecting her
caring about her
wanting her
needing her
while I'm sitting here crying
crying my eyes out for you . . .
