When words get in the way, listen to your heart

words are poor excuses for feelings

never on the mark

sometimes too high

sometimes too low

often, just "off"


these days, we share only words,

because, these poor orphans (words)

are the family we have


my orphans are trying to hit the mark

and if they do --- how lucky

if not, simply ignore them


go to your heart,

close your eyes

listen to the rhythm


feel your pulse

there I am

with you.
