I wrote in poetry what life showed me and how I was brought back to reality from dreams. |
| DARE TO ACCEPT I dare to dream, Aloud my aspirations scream; Want to reach for the stars, Ready to live through heavy showers. A dream too big, For it I did dig; Down underneath my strengths, Scaling all possible lengths. Big the dream may be, But it induces in me a glee; A glee- which cannot burst itself, Worthier than earning uncountable pelf. But someone thinks otherwise, No; He holds no vice; He has different plans for me, Today, which I can’t see… In time to come, I will know, He will beautifully show; I was made for something else, My brain this thought repels. But I know better, And will not fetter; For His decision is supreme, Bigger than any dream. Time may fail, To mend the bumpy trail; But a lesson He did impart, Pieces do not come together once apart. I respect His decision, Accept it without revision; He has strange ways- I wonder, Till death the thought I will ponder. |
