Standing in a room
Full of family and friends
No-one can hear me
Or my cries from within

They look straight thru me
But don’t acknowledge my tears
They walk right past me
Discounting all my fears

Ranting and raving
My soul is screaming out loud
No-one seems to care
I’m not part of the crowd

Overt as can be
I’m silencing my bellows
Away from the scene
