This is a poem I wrote about my ex boyfriend.

It happened one night…
There we were, young and reckless
Things went too far…too fast
Blinded by lust

What started as a kiss…
Led to so much more, young and reckless
Hearts beating hard…breathing fast
Blinded by lust

“Are you sure?” I said…
A shaky answer, he gave
“Lets just do this…” he said…
Blinded by lust

I awoke the next morning…
Guilt weighed heavily on my soul
“What have I done!” I thought…
Blinded by lust

How I wish I could turn back time…
He took something from me I can never get back
My innocence, my gift, my heart…
Blinded by lust

I thought he was the one…
That he would never leave
How wrong I was, so many regrets
Blinded by lust…

My heart broken, no...shattered
