I lost the one thing that I had truly
loved and now everything is blurred
as if someone forgot to focus the lens
when capturing my heart breaking.

Happiness has removed her
sweet touch and in place
of that soft warmth a bleak
draft of chilly grayness settles.

Something changed within all
these years that I have loved you
and now you are right in front of
me and yet I cannot reach you.

Its time to move on and find
the dreams and hopes that are a part
of my future and leaving a piece of my
heart behind with you I step forward.
