A poem about regaining confidence to love again.


As thoughts of you dance through my mind, my heart begins to smile

When my thoughts embrace you, my heart begins to hope

I struggle to forget my past, trying not to doubt

I wonder how long it will take for my heart to heal

Why is life so hard to live as we grow in age?

I know I question everything and it could cost a friend

I want to be free to love and give my heart away again.
