a poem of my life

AT THE TOP

Today has been another day,
an adventure in the name of me.
I never planned it out this way,
and it was never destiny.
A million thoughts battle in my head,
a thousand dreams fight for a place.
i close my eyes and sing instead,
of a devastation which has no face.
i live, and i learn, i laugh and i cry,
this is my life, this is my time.
i treasure each moment as it passes by,
life is a mountain to the top of which i climb.
and at the top i will wait for you,
my one and only love most true.
