HOPE

hopes need belief

HOPE
Before you can hope
you must also believe,
you need one with the other
the two interweave

Some will hope everyday
then lay back in their chair,
they dont really believe,
they just sit in despair

When you believe that your hopes
can, in time manifest,
thats when your belief,
will be put to the test

Your compass is set
the direction you know,
you must set your course straight,
bite the bullet, then go

The first step may be hard
but to you, not ignored,
you know its the big step
to your hopeful reward

It will never be easy
thats what we call 'a dream',
this route will have hurdles
they are endless , or so seem

Are you a believer
when you say "hope i can"
or is it mere words
without real thought or a plan
