A poem about letting go.

Melting inside me
Escaping my soul
Realizing I don't need you anymore
Nice to have around, but not the only one to love
Trying to remain selfless
Wanting you happy
I'll find another way to find such joy
Trying to just be happy with the "now"
Trying to not worry so much about the later
