When you run through life too quickly
You're bound to trip and fall..
Take your time..walk slowly
Don't expect to see it all.
Walk the world in wonder
Don't let days go by too fast
Don't worry about the future
Don't cling onto the past.
Help others when needed
Because you'll need others to help
Know your boundaries and exceed them
Don't set limitations for yourself.
See the truth inside you
Don't be fooled with all the lies
Remember to say "I Love You"
Don't forget to say goodbye
When you stand beside the ocean
Don't expect to not get wet
When you cross over the mountains
Know it's victory you will get.
You can never laugh too loudly
Or cry one tear too few
Don't be afraid to speak out boldly
Or always know just what to do
Ask a million questions
But find the answers for yourself
Try to learn all of life's lessons
Through the joy and pain that you have felt
Remember all the compliments
disreguard all harsh remarks
Be proud of your accomplishments
Believe in who you are.
