This is a poem dedicated to the person who holds my heart.

For you [ 12/18/07 ]

I want to change so you could love me
Because the same thing seems different from what our eyes could see
Could the two of us ever be together?
Or would it just be friends forever?

I want to grow so that I could hold you
I want to abandon all the foolish things I do
I want to leave my anger, sorrow and pride behind
So that our feelings for each other would start to unravel and unwind

I want to stand strong and do anything so I could shield you from harm
I will give you my coat in those cold days to make you feel warm
I will change myself for the better
I will use my own will, my power to rise and stand just to hold you forever

I will do my best to reach these things
I will give it all to spread these folded wings
Everything here that I have said
Are all for you, for you, my dearest beloved
