The Elves save Christmas |
'Twas the night before Christmas. All's quiet in the house. I in my snuggy pajamas, try waking up my spouse. Shouting and prodding, won't make him move. I believe he's still nodding, from a nightcap I behoove. There's no time to waste. I'll have to go it alone. The North Pole can't be disgraced, nor Christmas made to postpone. I jump from the bed, trying not to feel dizzy. I must go find the sled: fill it up in spite of my tizzy! I've got it packed and ready to go, just need to don suit, boots, hat & mitt. I slip it all on and wouldn't you know: Alas, I cry, "the Red Suit doesn't fit!" Upon hearing my cries, elves gather 'round me. Before wondering eyes they rip and stitch. In a twinkling I'm able to Ho-Ho-Ho with glee! The elves have saved Christmas without a hitch. |
