A Tattered Heart

These are somewhat angry lyrics, showing the emotions of how I once felt.

Covered in these invisible chains
I look around and see only myself to blame.
With a tattered heart
& an empty soul
I've destroyed the lives of anyone I've known.
And I see the darkness rising,
to drown me in its solitude.
You'd think I'd refuse-

I'm covered now in the rage I've created
To leave the ones who hurt me to feel as empty as I do,
completely degraded.
