Broken heart

I really don't know where to start,
He lent a hand but stole my heart,
I was floating on a cloud in the sky,
I fell in love with this guy,
His sweet adoring charm,
Setting off all of my alarms,
I thought he could complete me,
I was an idiot as far as I can see,
How much of a fool am I,
To think of falling for this guy,
My smiles are running away,
Gee what else can I say,
My laughter is gone some where,
But who on Earth really cares,
I got my hopes way up on high,
Now all I do is sit and cry,
Take the heart from my chest,
Beat it into the ground like the rest,
I honestly did not want to believe,
That this once again happened to me.
