I Do Not Understand

Why people let themselves fall in love
Why friends say they care when they don't
Why I care about certain people so much

But most of all,

I don't understand how you can care about someone so much, and just up and leave on them.

What I do understand,

Is my friends. They know when i need them and they know when i don't. They're there when I need them and gone when I don't. I understand that they love me.

I don't think anyone will ever understand the complete meaning or purpose of love. But in the end, all that matters is that we know we have it, and we know its not going anywhere.
