poem about loss in love |
| The remnants of life before are the scattered leaves upon the ground; The memories they linger on while everything else has turned to brown; Eons ago there was love; It gave the stars their twinkle the sun its shine; It was used and then discarded; Time and time again Love lost to life; Come in... the splintered doors are open; The cracks in the wall show promise of tomorrow's sun; The wounded soul is here today perhaps tomorrow you will find Love among the Ruins. |
