Pretty Much (With the Voice Of Reason)

I’m pretty much bilingual
I speak the language of “I’ve-got-my-act-together”
But I can also speak the language of “Broken-down-mess”
(Mostly I speak English, though.)

I’m pretty much a schizophrenic
The voices in my head still talk to me
But they’re not real.
(I made them up.)

I’m pretty much bi-polar
Hey: when you’re up, you’re up
When you’re down, you’re down.
(Sometimes I can’t tell what I am.)

I’m pretty much the coolest kid on the block
People wait outside of my door in the morning
Just to see what I’m wearing to school
(That’s pretty much a lie.)
