Why did she let the world bring her down?
People spoke to her like she was worthless
But she let them
People kicked her when she was down
But she did not defend herself
People picked her apart constantly
But she did not tell them to stop
People argued with her
But she did not argue back
Inside she felt worthless
She hated herself for letting this happen
She didn’t know what to do
She didn’t want to lose them
She was too scared of being alone
But she was scared of what she was capable of
If one day the anger she held inside boiled over
She hoped that she would never find out
