Hopeless Sheep

Dripping annoyance.. it's the obnoxious sink
Here I go again coercing my sleep
As I clench my eyes, thought bombard my mind
Haunting me, hindering me from reaching paradise
Eyes Blazing, I struggle to disregard the soft thumping of music
Anger rising, I toss and turn with sleep deprivation
The clock looks me square in the eyes
A constant reminder of the time slipping by
Calculating remaining time,
I smother my head in the pillow
Dreading the sunrise,
I try to count the hopeless sheep
