Mother & Daughter – I don’t know why

You’re my mother
I love you
Quite often I hate you
I resent you
I don’t know why.

I want to displease you
I want to runaway from you
I simply can’t stand you
I don’t know why.

We had good times
We’ve had bad times
We scream and shout
We hug and kiss
But right now I hate you
I don’t know why.

You say left, I say right
You say A, I say B
You say you love me
I say I hate you
I don’t know why.

I want you
I need you
But I push you away
And I just don’t know why.
