Thoughts on life

Year's end brings reflection & introspection, some thoughts on getting through life.

Wishing to be what one is not,
Pining for things that are not to be.
These are the things that destroy a life
That eat away at precious time.

To know oneself and one's destiny, the part one is to play - is divine.
It allows for growth,it allows for life.
Effort is purposeful, no longer wasted--
When you find your melody the Universe can sing along and
Bring you to that which is necessary.
To help you become.

A bird does not seek to swim underwater, nor a fish to fly.
To know your nature is to live your life well.
Fighting against your nature -- you will flounder and fail.

To know who you are is your greatest goal.

Through life we stumble, fall,
Pick ourselves up.
We ponder our existence, until reality calls.
We work, we strive.
We write, we dream.
