Friends Till The End

I’ve known you for so long
We started out as friends
Meeting on that faithful day

Now I’ve grown
To think of you
As something so much more
I just wish you could feel the same

Your touch sends shivers down my spine
Your eyes pierce into mine
You laugh makes me smile
More than anything in the world

Just being around you
Is all that I ask of life

Thinking of what could have been
Even though I think we could have worked it out
I’m just glad you’re my friend

Maybe we can grow to be more
But for now I’m happy
Just basking in your glow
