If There Weren't Any Angels

Just to let you all know : This is NOT based on my religious view, just imagination.

"An angel has fallen!"
I hear this too often
For each one shall collapse
Right as they are forgotten

Nobody believes
Everyone doesn't care
If those who are watching over us
Are or are not there

They don't have the time
To appreciate such things
The newborns, the joy
Or all the other blessings

Without the angels
We'll forget all the good
We wouldn't be grateful
For all the things that we should

Nobody would lend out
Another a helping hand
Yet want them to do
Their every little command

Now what kind of place
Would this world turn to be
If there weren't any angels
Watching over you and me?
