Vampire Lovers

Shadows dance across the window sill tonight
To my hearts delight.
I know it won’t be long till my lover is holding me tight.

The creatures of the night have come out to play.
My lover is one of them
You see he can’t come out in the day.

His skin is quite pale,
His teeth a little sharp,
But he is handsome, cunning, and smart.

As he kisses my neck his cold hands roam.
He softly whispers. "Soon you will never have to be alone."
"You will join my moonlit hunts."
"For now you are still weak you must rest up."

"Take of my blood it will make you strong."
"Tomorrow we feed and dance all night long."
