This Dream

Simple little poem. Just for me to try out this site. Enjoy!

I had a dream
Like a witness at a funeral
It appeared to me as a lake
Beautiful in its condition
I watched from the island
As it began to bubble
Fires arose around my vision
Lust grew in my mind
It was a frightening sight
Yet, it roared in my gut
A smell of perfume, no it must have been sulfur
I was engulfed
The flames grew higher
My screams could not be heard
No, they will never be heard
Only remembered
A memory
A dream
