like a caged beast

with a jade green tear in my eye

Promise whispered
A shot in the devil's eye
Love is lust
Dreams are fantasy
Death is real
Pleasure taking
pain revised

Faith is lost
Tears are shed
why can't we all be dead
Never in life have i felt an embrace like yours
only in the darkness of death have you touched me so
