Friends

this is a situation that i think people can relate to having friends.

Someone who you can trust .
Laughing so hard until we bust.
Going through ups and downs together.
Still able to love each other.
Until one day we look differently towards one another.
I know you so much like a book.
If something happened I never bothered to look.
Our friendship did go astray.
I didnt mean for it to be this way.
Feelings of being betrayed.
Is the only reason I couldn't stay.
Until you smiled at me one day.
That's when I knew again everything would be ok.
Loving each other once again.
So I was shocked this time when you wanted it to end.
Holding on so tight, but you let go and was out of sight.
Over the years, I held back all my tears.
Like a broken watch time stood still.
I thought this friendship would never heal.
But when I got on my knees and prayed.
There you were again here to stay.
