Your special friends
will always be
there with you throughout time.

  They’ll listen
  and they’ll talk to you,
  when no one seems to care.

They’ll see you
as your own true self,
they’ll help you as they can.

  Their smile will warm
  your lonely heart,
  their touch will pacify.

Your souls commune
as few can do,
timeless, throughout time.

  And when you are together
  the world just flows on by.

You trust them
with your secret self,
your decisions don’t get judged.

  They accept you
  with your faults and flaws
  and they love you as you are.

They sacrifice
their time for you,
they give you from their heart.

  Their twinkling eyes
  and sparkling smiles,
  make you know that life’s worthwhile.

You’ll never have a lot of them,
they’re rare as precious gems.
So take those very special friends
and love and treasure them.
