I am but its Slave

I am having a hard time quitting smoking and I urge everyone NOT to start this icky habit.

It tells me where I can eat
It's in total control
It's almost impossible for me to defeat
I'm so out of breath, I can't even bowl
It controls my every waking hour
Its power is so savage
My Lungs are what it wants to devour
I used to carry a 146 average
I try to fight it at every turn
But it is not easy to curb
Knowing that stress will make me yearn
For Just One More drag to calm my nerves
IT is nicotine
I am but its slave
And it, my controlling queen
