Him

This is a poem about my husband.

Loving, compassionate, sensitive,
Strong, Christian, faithful,
Caring, positive, motivated,
Hard-working, concerned, happy.

Above are characteristics
Of a wonderful man named Jerrold
Whom I love so very deeply -
Yearning for his company never gets old.

A handyman he is,
Doing odd jobs for older folks.
A brilliant mind sitting atop
His physically fit 6'4" body.

Our wedding was simple
In Hardin, Montana by the
Justice of the Peace on the Reservation,
Our honeymoon at the Big Horn River.

Jerrold is a reserved man,
Full of ideas,
Knowledgeable about many things
I'm privileged to be his.
