this is the on going quest of love

It seems as though its harder and harder to be true to you
since you keep on treating our love like its un important
I used to cling to your words like they are the scriptures of hard knock life
but your losing me and you can't even see past yourself long enough
to see the strife showcased on my face
and you refuse to erase your past errors
and in a way I refuse to erase them also
i just look at the phone and put it away
on the side of my bed cause I know
when I answer you will give even more reasons
why I should leave you in your self created hell.
