Sitting in awe

a feeling one day

As she focuses on the hateful words said..
Her eyes transfix on each and every letter used
Discovering new emotions she has never felt before
She wonders why she feels them now, with him.

Tears from her wasted dreams silently fall onto her lap,
As she caresses herself for comfort.
Everything seems to be paused, as she sits there in awe
Over how this situation could have developed.

The thought of every glance given, word spoken, touch felt..
Rush through her like a waterfall
Every memory, once stored at the back of her mind
Comes alive once again as she sits there silently

There are many questions she wishes she could ask him
Yet her hands wont allow her to move at the risk of getting more hurt
Every silent breath taken is another question she has kept to herself
Closing her eyes however she allows herself to picture him

A small smile seems to creep up on her face
Every second allowing itself to get a little bigger, and broader.
Unnoticably the negative emotions dissapear, as quickly as they developed
And she finally moves her hands, to say 'I love you'
