tribute poem to 9-11

Our country is in so much pain now
When it happened we all asked how
We thought we were the strongest of them all
And now our great country is beginning to fall
We have to work together as a team
To figure out our enemy's scheme
All of our eyes have shed those many tears
And now our minds are filled with an assortment of fears
There are children whose parents are now gone
But if we stand together, they'll still grow up strong
He took so many innocent lives
And people still board planes with knives
They come over here to be free
Then use us for our technology
For all those people that show they care
How much more can the USA bear
We'll remember that terrible day
And I hope we all continue to pray
We don't know what the future holds
But we do know the story of that day will be retold
So many people died from our enemy's hand
But not anymore because
UNITED WE STAND
