another reletively uninspired poem. a little rough around the edges but i like it |
| The Gods of the mountain see all there is to see every ocean, every city, every person, every tree they live in a temple high atop the summit if you feel cocky, they dare you, cometh If you can scale the cliffs, all the while dodging falling rocks for many miles volcanic ash building at your feet; the gods of the mountain, you may see. And if you manage to enter the halls of the ancient giants, proud and tall then the gods may grant you audience and you may be spared, should you be blessed with providence. Many have entered, few have left The gods seem to lack true gentleness they smite you and then they burn your blood they send hurricanes and typhoons and tremors and floods. But if all this you think you can bare, then scale the mountain, if you dare, but you will never truly be free for the gods of the mountain see all there is to see. |
