Convincing myself

Trying to convince myself
I'll be ok,
I'll be alright.

There's totally nothing wrong with me,
nothing out of place,
everything in line.

Cause that would just be wrong
& really can't happen again

The fate of this thing,
it's not the end.

There's a reaction to every action
& I'm bound to go running scared.
