This is about giving up on a wish that you keep wishing.

Another Wish

Another star falls from the sky,
I wish and I wish some more.
I sit down and I wonder why
My heart is still so sore.

Another Penny falls in the well.
I try and I try once again.
What will happen, you can't tell,
When the healing will begin.

Another time, I am lost in thought,
Trying to find my way back.
This is the wish that cant be bought,
The possession that I lack.

Another Penny falls in the well,
But this time not from me.
I watch it land and try to yell,
And make the dreamer see.

Another star falls from the sky,
But this time I look away.
Another dream will fall and die,
And I, with nothing to say.
