The Semi-Angered Movement of Today

One of the many different thought patterns about a certain relationship

I'm sorry,
that's not how it works.

females don't just disengage,
not without prompting.

and I don't think I'm asking for much,
just a little more credit,
a little more emotion,
I mean besides the bit that
enjoys me in your bed.

You can't give kisses like that
or hold me so close,
breathing in how I smell,
if you don't have some sort of feeling
-or something.

And you hear this,
you might just freak out
and end our little thing.

And that idea bothers me,
really makes me kinda upset;
you took it one step too far
by telling me to sleep in
and kissing my back

-it's all downhill from there.
