I am trapped and lost
somewhere in my dreams
chains linked around me
and i cant break free

I longed for the caring touch
that i wanted very much
i longed for the loving words
and to soar freely like the birds

I reach for the stars
with you right beside me
guiding me with your light
loving me with all your might

im weak inside my heart
but my faith in you remains strong
i know you will be there
showing how much you care

Oh sweet Mother Mary
You tell me to never give up
strive for the highest
and to do my best

when there is darkness in my heart
i look up to you
you guide me to the light
and i start a new
