One Word Progression

An experiment where I added a word every single line.

Speak.
Or don't.
Whatever hurts less.
Your words numb like Novacaine.
Speech spilling out of your mouth.
Too busy saying what your never meant.
I'll just linger and watch the orange moon.
Sighing softly as your verbal poision hits the pavement.
