on and on

this poem is about the suffocation and longing for a new life..

like a long suppressed thought,
like a never proposed love,
like a fish out of water,
like a jailbird,
suffocated as i am,
i go on and on..
i strive to find a doorway
to the haven of air, freshness
where peace of mind awaits,
where melodies soothe the senses,
where solitude isn't lonely,
and company is a bliss.
i will find a way,
i will breathe free,
till then,
i go on and on..
