| Hunter By Denyse I drift alone, Seeking whom to find delight Sometimes the rage of death is at hand To control and hold back So hard, such a fight Is there anyone else who wants to kill in the night? To walk amongst the living, to hear the steady rhythm of their breaths Tempting, alluring me to drink for eternity. Again I crawl and scratch against the darkness within, There isn’t such thing as friends. Sharing in the famish, the sucking of each and every vein Ravishing, excitement as I taste the liquid amongst my fingers Enjoying my prey Its cold and lonely the desire for love is far away Damned, haunted is all I can stay Do you see me in the dark walking your way? I don’t look ghoulish or demonic I see the way your body moves soft and discreet. I come off nice and intrigued. Waiting for the moment to feast And return to the streets. I am a hunter, drifting amongst thee. |
