The Unforgiving Nature of Forever

A poem I thought up while thinking about my fiance and I.

The saddest part of saying Forever-
Is the Fear;
The innocense of Love's Reality.

And though my Heart is softened
to near ectasy at those words:
"I Do",

I quiver in Fright;
To think that I - One so Strong
might surrender so easily
to the whim of this unforgiving emotion:
LOVE.
