Angel

Once again, another love poem

I met a boy that came down from heaven,
His beauty was shown, but his name he didn't mention.
As soon as I saw him, I knew he'd be with me until the end.
If not a lover, then as a friend.

He knew my pain through my eyes
And he didn't even have to ask why.
He prayed every night and hugged me every day.
And he led me towards Gods way.

One day I kissed this angel goodnight
And I prayed to God that He'll give me light
To see His will and what He wants for me
And what He said was to let that Angel be.

I listened to Him, even though I cried
To run away from Him, I really did try
The more I did, the more pain I had
And I thought my life was really bad.

Now I've realized why this angel is here with me
It's because he's to show me what true love is supposed to be.
He is the Angel that fell down from Heaven
And forever he will be with me, until the very end.
