We mourn the dead
Because it reminds us
We mourn the dead
because it reminds us
of our own mortality
it saddens us
maddens us
because mans mind
was not made to
cope with its own
meaninglessness
how our trials and
tribulations are worth
nothing
we can not cope
with reality
and so we return
to our comforting
illusions
no matter how
improbable they are
we convince
ourselves it means
something that is
until the next
fatality appears
and shatters our
world again
